Trality offers a range of additional general settings that you can apply to your overall bot in order to customize your strategy further. For General Settings, please refer to this article.
However, this article is about the Specific Settings, which are divide into Buy Settings and Sell Settings.
Buy Settings
Amounts
Buy Amount: Amount that will be used to create the order, either using the quoted currency or a percentage value.
Maximum Buy Amount: Amount that will be used to cap the maximum value of the order. In case a percentage is given, the portfolio value will be used.
Minimum Buy Amount: Amount that will be used to set the minimum value of the order. In case a percentage is given, the portfolio value will be used.
Orders
Expiry Duration: Duration after which any buy order sent to the broker or exchange should expire. Use this if you want to ensure orders are not open for too long.
Cooldown: Duration to wait between two consecutive buy orders. Use this if you want to prevent too many orders from being executed within a brief period of time.
Sell Settings
Orders
Expiry Duration: Duration after which any buy order sent to the broker or exchange should expire. Use this if you want to ensure orders are not open for too long.
Safeties
Take Profit: Percentage given in 0-100 range. If set, whenever the bot runs, a check will be performed as to whether the position has reached its take profit level. Once there is a profit achieved of the set percentage, the position will be closed, ensuring your bot will close positions when they're profitable, even if your signals would not instruct the bot to do so.
Stop Loss: Percentage given in 0-100 range. If set, every buy order will automatically create a stop loss sell order attached to it. Once there is a loss incurred of the set percentage, the position will be closed, ensuring your bot will close positions before they incur too much loss, even if your signals would not instruct the bot to do so.
